Kenny Rogers Teams Up With Cracker Barrel

Kenny Rogers is set to release a new album in correlation with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on March 7.
 
“The Love of God” will be Rogers’ second release with the Cracker Barrel exclusive music program.
 
Rogers said the album is the culmination of an idea he has “been thinking about for years.”
 
“It’s been a musical awakening to me,” Rogers said.
 
A collection of classics and contemporary songs will be featured on the album, including the favorite song of Rogers’ mother, In the Sweet By and By.
 
“When I was a kid, as I was leaving to go to school, I remember hearing her sing along with the radio,” Rogers said.  “Music is by far the best memory creator I know.”
 
The album will be available exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations.
 
Rogers is also set to appear on a GAC special which will focus on celebrating the country singer’s career. Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years will air on Tuesday, March 8 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
