Kenny Chesney will grace the stage at Pizza Hut Stadium again on May 17 for his fans in Dallas, Texas, who weathered a storm to stay to watch him sing on May 2. Chesney had to leave the stage due to terrible weather, but is giving fans another chance to come see his Sun City Carnival Tour.

"These stadium shows are always one of the highlights of our touring year," Chesney said in a statement. "And you want to be able to really made this the party of the summer! I was bummed about the weather - and when you're onstage in it, looking at well over 20,000 who aren't leaving, who want to stay and hear the music - you know what kind of heart those fans have."

Fans who want to attend the rescheduled concert simply need to use their ticket stubs as a ticket to get in to the May 17 show. It will be general admission, and Chesney extended the invite to perform to everyone who was previously on the bill. Chesney stressed that he wanted Dallas fans to get to experience his show the way they were meant to.

"...with the help of everyone involved who's working with us to make this happen - I'm gonna come back to Dallas and play it the way I wanted to do this show the first time," said Chesney. "Let people come and tailgate, have fun with their friends and really get their rock on with us! I'm lucky to have fans who give us as much as ours do - and I want them to know how much that means to us."
