Kenney Chesney’s Foxboro show has been rescheduled due to hurricane warnings. The concert, originally set for Sunday, Aug. 28, has now been pushed up to Friday, Aug. 26. The US National Hurricane Center’s forecast shows that hurricane-level storms may occur in New England on Sunday, and for safety reasons, local officials, promoters, Kenney Chesney and his team decided to change the date.

"I want the last weekend of the 'Goin' Coastal' Tour to be a great experience for everybody. But I also want it to be the safest experience for everyone," said Chesney. "I've always said Foxboro is a highlight of our tour, because the fans are ready for a great night of music and fun no matter what night it is!"

All tickets for Sunday’s show will be honored on the new date as well as the line-up and set-times. There will be no show on Sunday, Aug. 28 and for those fans who are unable to attend Friday’s performance, refunds will be offered at point of purchase.
