Eight-time Country Music Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney and rock icon Steve Miller will unite on the latest episode of CMT Crossroads, premiering July 9 at 9 p.m. EST/PT on CMT.

This is not the first time Miller and Chesney have shared the stage. The longtime friends have performed together in San Francisco during Chesney’s summer tours and played classic Steve Miller Band hits.

During the hour-long episode, the two will perform Chesney’s hits such as "Living in Fast Forward" and "I Go Back" as well as Steve Miller Band hits such as "The Joker" and "Abracadabra."

This is Chesney’s second CMT Crossroads performance. He appeared on the series in October 2003 with John Mellencamp.

The legendary Miller is responsible for hits such as "Jet Airliner," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Livin’ in the USA" and the 1973 No. 1 "The Joker." After 40 years together, the Steve Miller Band has sold more than 25 million records. Miller’s new album, BINGO!, has just been released.

Tennessee native Chesney has released 19 No. 1 hits such as "Young," "Summertime," "Out Last Night" and "Anything but Mine," resulting in more than 35 million records sold. Chesney is the only artist to sell more than one million tickets each of the past eight summers. The Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D movie played in theaters nationwide in May and will soon be released on DVD.
