Kenny Chesney and Steve Miller Tape 'CMT Crossroads'
Keywords:
Country Music star Kenny Chesney considers rock legend Steve Miller to be one of his music icons. Now Chesney will have the opportunity to play alongside his hero for an episode of CMT Crossroads.
An invitation only audience will have the chance to hear the two longtime friends swap songs, as they have done many times before during summer concerts. The duo will perform some Miller hits, including “Rockin’ Me,” “The Joker,” “Fly Like an Eagle” and “Livin’ in the USA,” as well as some of Chesney’s Country Music staples -- “When the Sun Goes Down,” “Summertime,” “Beer In Mexico” and “The Good Stuff.”
Miller is a blues/rock singer/songwriter/guitarist and one of the cornerstones of rock music. He started his first band at the age of 12, being influenced by music icons such as Charles Mingus, Les Paul and T-Bone Walker.
