Keni Thomas Raises Money For Kenny Rogers' Children's Center

Keni-Thomas
Keni Thomas and his band, Cornbread, performed at the 30th annual Kenny Rogers' Children's Center Telethon, raising $443, 645. The telethon was held on March 20 and 21 in Sikeston, Mo., and was televised regionally and on local cable outlets around the area.

The Kenny Rogers Children's Center just about reached their goal of $500,000. However, they did raise a record-breaking amount for their upcoming expansion to the center. The money will allow the center in Sikeston to expand the facility and hire additional therapists to serve more children with special needs in Southeast Missouri. The private non-profit center serves children from birth to 21 years of age that have special needs, including those with cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, shaken-baby syndrome, autism, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, Williams Syndrome and many other physical and learning disabilities.
