Kellie's New Kitten

On a recent break from Brad Paisley's Bonfires & Amplifiers tour, Kellie Pickler took the opportunity to adopt a kitten. Found through a classified ad, Kellie describes the orange kitten with big blue eyes as “the cutest little thing.” Kellie tells the Huntington (W.Va.) Herald Dispatch, “I called my manager just a little bit ago and said, ‘You're never gonna believe what I've done now. I've adopted!’” Kellie says she let that joke run its course before letting her manager in on the whole story. “I guess that's one thing American Idol didn't show about me,” she says. “I've always loved playing jokes on people.” Brad Paisley, also known for his sense of humor learned about Kellie’s penchant for practical jokes last month when she and touring mates Taylor Swift and Jack Ingram surprised him onstage during “Ticks” dressed as giant ticks and an exterminator. “I'm a little worried because I know he's gonna try to get me back,” says Kellie. “I think he'll try something in Charlotte, but I’ll be ready for him. He can't mess with me in my hometown.”
