Kellie Pickler Gets Star Struck

Former Idol contestant Kellie Picker has is spending time with her fans this summer on the Taylor Swift Fearless 2009 Tour. But at a recent Canadian performance, roles reversed and Pickler played the role of the fanatic — to one Ms. Loretta Lynn.

Both Lynn and Pickler were performing at the Havelock Country Jamboree, where the Country newbie was introduced to the legendary Lynn for the first time. "I think it's really cool when you meet someone you're a fan of, especially when you've followed their career and bought their records, and had their posters on your wall and worn their t-shirts," Pickler told TheBoot.com this week.

Pickler said the event caused her to fall in love with Country Music again. "When I met Loretta... when I sat on the side of the stage and watched her sing, I fell in love with it all over again. When I think it doesn't get any better than this, damned if it doesn't!"
