Keith Urban to Perform on American Idol Finale

Keith Urban is taking a break from his Escape Together World Tour to perform during the American Idol finale this Wednesday night on Fox.

American Idol is a favorite of Urban's. According to him, "there are (and were) some truly gifted vocalists. The Rat Pack episode was the best, across the board - nights of singing that I've ever seen on television. I guess what I love most about the show, is watching the musical growth - to see them use the critique given and come back the next week and blow you away......that's the magic of Idol."

Urban will add to the magic of Idol as he joins the long list of past guests that includes Carrie Underwood, Lady GaGa, Daughtry and many others.

Urban is keeping his song selection a secret, but according to HITFIX.com, many think he will perform "Kiss a Girl," which is at No. 5 on the Billboard charts this week.

After performing, Urban will return to his tour with a show in Charleston, W.V. on March 28.
