Keith Urban Likes to Get Out in the Crowd

Keith Urban likes to make his concerts a unique experience for his fans, and the Country Music star has certainly done tby jumping into the crowds every night to get closer to the people who paid to see him.

"Our goal every night is to play with the crowd, not at them," Urban told GACtv.com. "We designed the stage to make that possible. The truth is that I don’t even know when I’ll leave the stage to go into the stands, but that’s what makes it so much fun. You never know what is going to happen."

The Country artist has certainly had his share of unexpected experiences since he started playing in the crowd. Since Urban’s Escape Together tour started last month, his publicist reports that he has jumped in the crowd almost two dozen times during the first nine tour dates.

Already, Urban has lost a guitar, nearly had his shirt ripped off and even had to stop playing because of the close proximity of fans around him. Despite what’s happened, Urban keeps on playing. His Escape Together tour continues through the summer.

Keith Urban fans can hope for more crowd jumping this weekend when Urban plays Cincinnati on Friday, Detroit on Saturday and Fort Wayne, Ind., on Sunday. Taylor Swift is the opening act for all three shows.
