Keith Urban is a Protective Papa

As Keith Urban steps back into the media spotlight of a world tour, having his 9-month-old daughter along for part of the ride has Urban prepped for the paparazzi.

The singer said his role as a father and husband kicks in when considering the prying media, as he and wife Nicole Kidman try to keep Sunday Rose away from the cameras. "It's just what her mother and I do, so we do what we can to try and keep some civility about the whole thing," Urban said in a recent report from The Tennessean.

Ever the family man, as Urban embarks on his Escape Together World Tour, his bus is prepped for his family to come along, and between tour dates, he schedules frequent trips back to their home in Nashville.

Urban is playing his second show in Uncasville, Conn. tonight with fellow Country Music stars Little Big Town, who replaced Sugarland due to Jennifer Nettles' illness.
