Keith Urban Admits He's An Eric Church Fan

Just because a person may have ‘made it big’ in the country music industry doesn’t mean that person is not a fan of other musicians. Take Keith Urban, for example. The Australian country superstar revealed his love for Eric Church's music.

 

“That’s huge praise,” Church told CMT on April 13. “I’ve said this before, but I’m a straight-up music snob. There are not a lot of things I like, and I love with Keith does. I always have.”

 

Church and Urban have both found their ways into their own niches of the music industry, and their admiration for each other overlaps.

 

"You know," Church said, "he's always been a guy that has a lot of respect because he's a musician, he's a writer, he makes great records, he tours. He's the real deal....So to have someone like that pay attention and care what you're doing means a lot."

 

Church recently announced he and his wife are expecting their first child.
