A spokesperson for Columbia Nashville confirms they have split with Keith Anderson, who underwent vocal chord surgery earlier this year, according to CMT.com. Anderson’s second album, C’Mon, was released in 2008. The single “I Still Miss You” off that release went to #2 on Billboard’s country airplay chart.
His 2005 album, Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll, was certified gold for shipments of 500,000 copies. His other singles include "Pickin' Wildflowers," "XXL," "Every Time I Hear Your Name," "Podunk," "Sunday Morning in America" and "She Could've Been Mine."
Anderson is a noted writer as well with songwriting credits including Big & Rich's "Lost in This Moment" and the George Jones/Garth Brooks duet, "Beer Run."
