Tickets on sale today at 10.” Not surprisingly, the show sold out in 30 minutes, signaling the official launch of Kenny’s annual Keg in the Closet tour. The singer, who’s currently in rehearsals for the upcoming Poets & Pirates tour, decided to undertake the tour of college bars again, in spite of concerns over word leaking out and crowds becoming uncontrollable, which caused the recent cancellation of one scheduled event. For Kenny the Keg shows are performances he and his band always look forward to. “To me and the guys, these are the shows that are about being sloppy, having fun, singing a million covers and a few of our hits,” he says. These shows are really about where music truly comes from."
