Kanye West Calls Taylor Swift To Apologize

Taylor Swift appeared on ABC's The View this week (September 15) where she publicly announced that Kanye West had not personally reached out to apologize to her since the intrusion at the VMA's this past Sunday night.  After The View, it is reported that Kanye called Taylor and gave a sincere apology which she accepted, according to a statement from The View.

Taylor admitted on the morning show that she was shaken up by the incident, but had to quickly recover since she had to perform just moments later.  She also mentioned on the show that she was surprised and elated by the amount of support she had from her fans and fellow artists.  Taylor said, "There were just a lot of people around me backstage that were saying wonderful, incredible things and just having my back.  I just never imagined that there were so many people looking out for me."

West appeared on the premiere episode of The Jay Leno Show on Monday night (September 14).  When Jay asked Kanye about the incident he said, "It was rude, period. I need to, after this, just take some time off and analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life, how I'm going to improve." Her also said on Leno that he intended to apologize to Taylor.
