Just "Webb" It

Google is one lucky dog. They’ve got so much going for them. In my 28 (read 4) years of sniffing around this earth, I can’t think of any other business people have come to rely upon so much. Their name is used as a verb. That’s strong.

Actually me and Google have a lot in common you know. We both are known for tracking things down. I do it with my nose. They do it with algorithmns. On yeah, and they change the way they do it from time to time. That’s the part I don’t get.

See, once I know how to track a particular thing down, I always know how to track it down. Google’s not that way. What led them to you yesterday might not work today.

They’re kind of like a poorly trained coonhound. They can track down a raccoon today, but not tomorrow. Or rather they choose not to.
I don’t know about you, but if I were a hunter I don’t know that I’d be too pleased with that.

Now me, give me a whiff of what you want me to find and I’ll fetch it for you, every time. So, I guess, in a way I’m better than Google aren’t I?
So maybe people should use me more to search for stuff?

I’d even be willing to help get some advertisers. I could wear a couple LED signs on either side of me while I’m searching. The messages could be tailored to whatever I’m searching for even!

Well now, this is all sounding pretty good to me. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Google might want to just roll over.

Who knows? Maybe one day soon you’ll hear someone reply to someone else’s question by saying, “Just Webb it”, or maybe “Just Woof it”.

Woof.
