Dance Star Julianne Hough Heads Up Chart

5/21/2008 Mac McKinnon Country Music newcomer Julianne Hough, professional dancer and two-time winner of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, released her self-titled debut album Tuesday, May 20 on Mercury Nashville. Hough, 19, will perform her first single, “That Song in My Head,” Thursday, May 22 on ABC's Good Morning America and The View. The single has already climbed into the top-30 on Billboard’s Country Music charts. “It’s been doing great,” said Hough of the single. “I never would have thought it would do that well.” Julianne Hough will open for Brad Paisley on his upcoming tour, starting June 11.  This could be a sign of things to come for Hough, as Paisley’s past opening acts include the likes of Country Music artists Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, and Taylor Swift. “He’s had amazing company,” Hough said. “I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to it.”
