Judge Issues Temporary Injunction Against Sara Evans' Ex

When Country star Sara Evans and her former husband Craig Schelske divorced in 2007, the marriage did not end peacefully as they accused one another of having affairs and attracted several national headlines revealing personal lives.  

On Monday, March 15, in Williamson County Court in Tennessee, Schelske was issued a temporary injunction, preventing him from making public statements about Evans. Last month Evans requested a temporary restraining order against Schelske, as he is active in promoting the passage of a bill in the Tennessee Legislature that would establish equal parenting time as the default custody arrangement in divorce cases.

Schelske claimed Evans' attorney discredited him by using "false and salacious allegations." He went on to discuss the issue on a nationally-syndicated talk radio show.

Currently, Evans is married to former University quarterback Jay Barker, who now co-hosts a sports radio talk show in Birmingham.
