Josh and Family Ready for Christmas Fireworks

Betts   The success of Josh Turner’s current single, “Firecracker,” (No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart this week) is fitting, since the Turner family celebrates Christmas with fireworks. “It was mainly kind of a holiday type thing,” says Josh. “Obviously, July 4th and Thanksgiving and Christmas. Especially Christmas for our family. Especially my Daddy’s family. All the individual families kind of had a lot of competition with each other and they tried to outdo each other to try and see who had the biggest and baddest fireworks and all that. My Daddy, I think, was the smartest one. He just went out and bought maybe $25 worth of fireworks and let everybody else put on the big show.
