10/24/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Josh Turner has performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage nearly 100 times since his memorable debut there (at the Ryman Auditorium) on Dec. 21, 2001. By the end of this Saturday night’s Grand Ole Opry performance, Josh will be a full-fledged member of the Opry family, joining some of the most celebrated performers in country music history. While Josh remains humbled by all that has happened in his relatively short career, he does have a few long-term goals. “I’ve already accomplished a lot of what I wanted to do,” he tells the Grand Ole Opry’s Dan Rogers in an online interview, adding “there’s a lot more I want do … my goal has always been to become a legend in this business just like the legends that have come before me on that Opry stage. I have some big shoes to fill!” Read the complete article here, and be sure to check out this weekend’s Grand Ole Opry lineup. Josh will be inducted into the Opry on GAC’s Opry Live, airing Saturday (10/27) at 8 p.m. (ET). Vince Gill and Rissi Palmer will also be featured on the live broadcast.
