2/27/2008 Stephen L. Betts No foolin’, Josh Gracin fans – his highly-anticipated sophomore album, We Weren't Crazy, is set for release on April 1. Josh promises the follow-up to his gold-certified debut offers a more personal peek at the life of the American Idol season 2 finalist and former Marine. “This album is more me,” says Josh. “I was able to focus on making the album I wanted to make. For the first album, I was still in the service, so I had to fly in and out of Nashville to record when I could. This time around it had my undivided attention.” The autobiographical “We Weren’t Crazy” was written by Josh, Tony Lopacinski, and Bobby Pinson, and chronicles Josh’s personal journey from childhood to raising children to having a family of his own. “This time around I got to dig in and share my stories as a songwriter. I'm so proud of how this song turned out,” he says. Josh’s debut album has sold over 695,000 copies, making him one of only three new male country singers introduced in the last four years to earn a gold album. He’s the only male solo country artist in recent history with a debut album featuring three consecutive Top 5 country hits, including his first No. 1, "Nothin' to Lose."
