Jonalee White, a fresh face in Country Music, released her sophomore album, Sugar, on Aug. 31 through Lick Records. The album includes White’s single, “Naked As Fools,” which scored the No. 27 slot in Country radio when it was released earlier this year.

“This is a playful, uplifting CD that expresses women’s independence through love, work and play,” said White in a press release. “Coming off the success of ‘Naked As Fools,’ I think fans appreciate the material and are sure to find more connections in the other tracks as well.”

White is making some connections of her own across the industry. She joined forces last week with the Columbus Clippers, a Cleveland Indians AAA affiliate, to sing the national anthem at their Sept. 2 game. The first 2010 fans in the stadium received a copy of her album.

For those who only caught the game on television at the local sports bar, you may have run into White’s music as well. Her recent partnership with Musicati.com will launch her album into jukeboxes at nearly 20,000 bars and taverns across the country.

And if the bar scene is not for you either, you can still see White on the We’re America Tour with co-headliner Cody McCarver. Tour dates and more information on White’s music can be found at http://jonaleewhite.com.
