Jon Hager Dies at 67

Jon Hager, one half of the Hagers vocal duo and Hee Haw cast member, died Friday morning, Jan. 9. The 67-year-old apparently died in his sleep. He had also been in reportedly poor health since his twin brother, Jim, died of a heart attack in May 2008.Although the duo had a successful career as recording artists and entertainers, they are best known for their roles on the TV classic, Hee Haw. They were on the first episode in 1969 and stayed for nearly 20 years, leaving the show in 1989.
