Johnson, Rimes, Mayer and Urban to Perform New Songs on CMT Music Awards

The 2010 CMT Music Awards will be filled with new music and performances.
 
Jamey Johnson will be debuting “Macon,” a Southern-rock song from his upcoming album; LeAnn Rimes will be performing a choreographed number while performing a contemporary rendition of John Anderson’s “Swingin’” from her upcoming album Lady and Gentlemen; and John Mayer and Keith Urban will perform Urban's unreleased song, "Hit The Ground Running," for the very first time on television.
 
The 2010 CMT Music Awards will air live Wednesday, June 9, at 8 p.m., ET/PT on CMT. All performances from the show will be streamed live and available for viewing after the show on www.CMT.com.
 
Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band are also scheduled to perform on stage at the CMT Music Awards, hosted by Kid Rock. Presenters will include celebrity cook Paula Deen, American Idol’s Kara Dioguardi, the NFL’s Terrell Owens, actress Hayden Panettiere, NASCAR legend Richard Petty and Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson. 
 
Voting will take place through June 8 on vote.CMT.com. Video of the Year nominees will be announced at the beginning of the live show and fans can then vote at CMT.com and through text message throughout the show (ET/CT only) to determine the big winner.
