Time has been flying for Country Music star John Michael Montgomery, as this week sees CMT News celebrating Montgomery's latest album in four years, Time Flies. The singer spent that time recovering from various surgeries, including a total hip replacement, and a downward turn that ended in rehab. Montgomery told CMT News, "So I spent most of my time trying to get beyond these setbacks and still keep my name out there ... I was still out touring, but nobody knew about it because I didn't have any records out." Montgomery is pushing forward with his latest project, which debuted at No. 35 on Billboard last month, and the first single, "Forever," is at No. 44. He has started his own label, Stringtown Records, and was able to land top songwriters Jamey Johnson, Luke Bryan and Kelley Lovelace for the new album. The Country crooner said, "I'm only 43, I'm not done yet."To read the full story, click here.
