John Forgerty Receiving Songwriting Award

Former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman and successful solo artist John Fogerty will be honored with the Lifetime Achivement Award for Songwriting at the Americana Music Association's Annual Honors and Awards on Thursday, Sept. 17, at The Ryman in Nashville.
John will be joining an elite list of people who have received this award, including Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Billy Joe Shaver, and more.
