The hit husband and wife duo Joey + Rory returns with their sophomore album, aptly titled Album Number Two. The album is scheduled for a Sept. 14 release and will seek to maintain the tone of the first album.

By drawing from their everyday life Joey + Rory stay true to what made their debut album take off. Much of the new material is co-written by Rory Feek and helps the duo stay honest with their music.

Joey + Rory also paired with the Zac Brown Band for the track “This Song’s For You.” Written by Feek and Zac Brown on the road, the song received overwhelming praise during the Breaking Southern Ground tour. The result was the delay of the album release to include a recording of the popular song.

“We worked it up with Zac in rehearsals for the spring tour as something to do in the encore,” said Rory. “But the response to the first time we sang it on the stage took our breath away. It still does. It’s not just for the fans….it’s for all the people out there who work hard for a living, are barely getting by, and who truly love this country even though it ain’t perfect.”

Look for the new album in stores Sept. 14.
