Joe Nichols Is Going To Broadway

Joe Nichols has been announced to play the lead role of in the Broadway version "Pure Country". The Broadway version is updated from the 1992 film and will start showing in early 2010.
Nichols told CMT how he feels about playing the legendary George Strait, "It feels pretty amazing. He's been a hero of mine since I was a little kid so to come along behind him ... on Broadway and do something that people dream their whole lives of doing is pretty amazing."
