Joe Jonas The saga of the Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas break up has yet to reach a ceasefire.  Swift has been very open about her breakup with Jonas, speaking about it in interviews and blogs; but, until now, the Jonas Brother has kept quiet about his side of the breakup. However, in very recent MySpace blog, Joe Jonas and his brothers wrote a message to their fans to clear up some of the confusion about the breakup situation. The letter began, “It is our normal rule to avoid talking about our private lives. It seems that it has come to the point where we must address a few things…We felt like it was important to respond because recent events have affected our fans. It is important to us as artists and brothers to enlighten regarding this situation. Our fans are the most important thing to us.”Taylor SwiftThe letter discusses that in their profession, the Jonas Brothers find it difficult to maintain lasting relationships because of the “busy schedules and high demands.” Then, Joe continued on to discuss his recent buzz on his breakup with Taylor Swift, though he never mentioned her by name. As a disclaimer, he wrote, “this blog is not an attack of anyone.” He pointed out that not all relationships are meant to be and that anyone can have a change of heart.Swift blamed Joe’s possible new girlfriend, Camilla Belle (co-star in the Jonas Brother’s “Lovebug” video) as the reason for the breakup. But in his letter, Jonas explained that he has never cheated on any of his girlfriends.  In response to the accusation, Jonas wrote, “It might make someone feel better to assume or imply that I have been unfaithful, but it is simply not true...I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause [the fans] to think less of me.”In terms of the 27-second break up phone call that Swift talked about on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jonas said, “I called to discuss feelings with the other person.  Those feelings were obviously not well received.  I did not end the conversation. Someone else did.”In closing Jonas wished the best for his ex and concluded saying, “[I] could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth.  Hope this helps enlighten a little.”By Friday, Nov. 14, the post had been removed and exchanged with a listing of the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming concerts.
