Joe Diffie Signs With Rounder Records

Grand Ole Opry member and star singer/songwriter Joe Diffie has signed with Rounder records, it was announced Friday.Diffie originally started off as a bluegrass star, and after his storied Country career, he is getting back to his roots. He will release a new bluegrass album in the spring of 2009.Diffie has penned 12 No. 1s, 20 top 10s and had had four gold and platinum albums in his career. The Grammy Award-winner has also shared his success with other artists, writing hits for Holly Dunn, Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence, Conway Twitty, Doug Stone and Jo Dee Messina.
