Betts   Jo Dee Messina will be one of several country artists participating in building a Habitat for Humanity home in the Nashville area this weekend (9/29-9/30) in a project sponsored by the Country Music Association and Greased Lightning. She’ll also perform at a Nov. 6 concert at the Cadillac Ranch in Nashville, celebrating Habitat for Humanity families and volunteers. A limited number of tickets will be on sale to the public. Additional information, including show time, on-sale date and ticket price will be released closer to the date.  "I've been a fan of Habitat for Humanity for quite some time, says Jo Dee. “I am so excited to actually be able to participate in construction of one of the homes.” Other artists volunteering to help with construction include Bryan White, Stephen Cochran, Katie Armiger, Jeremy Boz, Ansel Brown, Jamie Dailey of Dailey & Vincent, Carlton Moody of Burrito Deluxe, Todd O'Neill, and The Roys. The new house will be built by Habitat for Humanity volunteers, including CMA staff, over four weekends in September and October. The home will be one of 15 Habitat houses in the Providence Park community dedicated in a ceremony on Oct. 21. The Providence Park community contains 138 Habitat homes. The construction of the home started during 2007 CMA Music Festival when wall panels were built in the event's Family Zone by several volunteers, including Clayton Bellamy of The Road Hammers, Blue County, Ty Herndon, Jason Meadows and Bryan White.
