Jo Dee Messina Lights Up New York and Nashville

Following Christmas tradition, Jo Dee Messina and fellow musicians including Rod Stewart, Rob Thomas, The Muppets, Michael Bublé, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Barry Manilow, The Roots and Shakira, took part in the annual Rockefeller Center Tree-Lighting Ceremony in New York Wednesday night. Messina performed "Sleigh Ride" off her 2002 Christmas album, A Joyful Noise.
Following the ceremony in New York, Messina headed back to Nashville, where she will host two free shows at the Brentwood United Methodist Church on Saturday, Dec. 5. In lieu of priced tickets, Messina asks that donations be made to Harvest Hands Community Development Corporation.
Her new single, "That's God" can be expected in early January, with the release of the album shortly thereafter in the spring.
