Jo Dee Messina Adds Dates to Intimate 'Music Room Tour'

Jo Dee Messina, who has sold more than five million records and had nine No. 1 singles, two Grammy nominations and several CMA and ACM awards, has recently added more tour dates to her Music Room Series Tour. Several of these dates include six concerts on the West Coast Oct. 16-24 in Washington, Oregon and California. Messina will be approaching this tour a bit differently, and more intimately, than tours in the past.

 

The format of the Music Room Tour is intended to reflect the music room in her home, which consists of a simple stage with a piano and four backing musicians. Messina will also be making the show more intimate by taking requests from and chatting with fans, answering questions and being herself. “We have such a blast with the Music Room shows,” said Messina. “No two concerts are the same, and each night the show is dictated by the crowd. I am looking forward to taking it out West.”
