Last week while making his walking trek through Oklahoma, Country Music star Jimmy Wayne was stopped by police on Highway 152, just outside of Mustang, Okla.

Wayne was with his driver when they pulled up to a police officer and asked him for directions. A few minutes later, two officers pulled them over, both the driver in the car that follows Wayne on his Meet Me Halfway journey and Wayne, on foot.

"They asked for our license and registration," Wayne said as he recorded the event on UStream. "I'm walking and they took my license!"

The officers also searched the vehicle with a canine. "These nice police officers wanted to make sure we were legit, just doing their job. I understand it, especially when there is nothing else to do out here," Wayne laughed. "And when you're wearing ski goggles and ski clothes, you stand out and you look weird."

Once the search was completed, and license returned, the guys were back on their trek into Texas, ever closer to the final destination of Pheoniz. "If you guys get bored again man, bring me some lunch!" Wayne joked with the officers, who proceeded to give directions to the next few towns and their eateries.
