Patty Loveless and Jimmy Wayne Duet

Country Music singer-songwriter Jimmy Wayne is ready to release his new album, Do You Believe Me Now, which has spawned a hit single of the same name.  The album will be available in stores Aug. 26.

Joining Wayne for the track "No Good For Me" is superstar and good friend Patty Loveless. The track was actually added after Wayne thought the CD was completed, and a little last minute rearranging now holds the duet in its rightful spot.

"I hold honesty in lyrics and in vocal performance above all else in my music," Wayne said on his myspace page. "For me, Patty represents the embodiment of honesty in music to which the rest of us can only aspire."

Wayne's mentor is reading for her own new fall release, Sleepless Nights, which will be in stores September 9. Loveless also has recently announced a tour to promote the album, something the singer-songwriter hasn't done in three years. Her first stop will be in Lancaster, Penn.
