Jimmy Wayne Offers Helping Hands to 'Extreme Home Makeover'

An upcoming epsisode of Extreme Home Makeover in Montgomery, Ala., will feature Jimmy Wayne as a guest star. The Country Music artist spent two days on location in Alabama where he helped build a home for a less fortunate family and threw a benefit concert at the Montgomery Brewing Company, raising more than $2000 for the family, according to AOL's The Boot.Wayne commented that he was overwhelmed by the production of the TV show, and by the generosity of those involved."I never would have imagined there would be so much activity going on behind the scenes," Wayne wrote on his blog. "They literally took up 2-4 blocks with motor homes, bulldozers and Porta-Jons! There were tons of people working, even a massage therapist was on site (lots of sore backs) ... It was an awesome feeling knowing that so many Wayne also threw a benefit concert in Montgomery, raising more than $2000 for the family. volunteers were involved, especially during a time when people are struggling so hard. It shows how selfless people can still be."An air date for the episode will be announced at a later date.
