Jimmy Wayne is being honored by the Salvation Army for his contributions to the organization, making him the youngest person the charity has ever recognized at 36-years-old, TheBoot.com reported.

Wayne, who grew up in foster care, said he is "really passionate" about helping teenagers. He told PEOPLE magazine, "There is something special about the kids who grow out of the system...Sometimes they're let go when they reach a certain age and they have nowhere to go. That's where I was at one point in my life and this family helped out."

Wayne is on tour with Dierks Bentley and Brad Paisley on the American Saturday Night Tour. He said that music isn't the only thing he's focused on, though. Being on the road with a well-known joker, Paisley, it's kept him thinking about revenge. Wayne said, "I've got a few things up my sleeve...I've got one so bad, it's so bad of a prank it might get me arrested!"
