Jessica Harp and Michelle Branch of The Wreckers called it quits, leaving both girls to continue their careers as solo artists. Harp said she enjoyed her time singing with Branch but wants to veer as far away from The Wreckers's sound as she can, to establish herself as an individual. She chose the rockin' single "Boy Like Me" to do just that. The slightly naughty and comical story of a rebellious woman looking for her bad boy counterpart gives the songs a “sassy and fun” edge according to Harp, reported TheBoot.com.

Jerry Flowers, Harp’s producer and colleague of Keith Urban, heard "Boy Like Me" and suggested Chesney might enjoy being a part of the song. Flowers sent a demo to Urban and Urban immediately decided to become a part of the recording.
Harp’s album, A Woman Needs, is due Sept. 22. The title track is her second single that is topping the charts.
