Jerry Lee Lewis Gets Rock Hall Concert

9/24/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Kris Kristofferson, Shelby Lynne and the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart will perform during a Nov. 10 concert honoring Jerry Lee Lewis. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced the concert, which will be held at Playhouse Square's State Theater in Cleveland, as part of a six-day celebration sponsored by the Hall of Fame and Case Western Reserve University. It’s part of their 12th annual American Music Masters series which includes panel discussions, film screenings and other educational programs. Jerry Lee is the first living artist to be honored during the series. Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart, Jerry Lee's cousin, will play piano at the concert. The event will also feature Wanda Jackson, Cowboy Jack Clement, George Thorogood, Narvel Felts, Billy Lee Riley, Jason D. Williams, NRBQ's Terry Adams and Jerry Lee’s sister, Linda Gail Lewis.
