Jeffrey Steele Starts 2009 Like He Finished 2008: Strong

Producer/songwriter Jeffrey Steele has kicked off 2009 with a bang. This week, Rascal Flatts went No. 1, giving Steele his ninth No. 1 single as a songwriter. Later this week, Steele goes to the Golden Globe Awards and the Critics Choice Awards where "I Thought I Lost You," the song he and Miley Cyrus wrote for the Disney animated feature BOLT, has been nominated for Best Original Song for Motion Picture at both events.It is a great start to the new year for Steele, who finished out 2008 rather strongly. He was one of the most popular judges ever on Nashville Star. In November, by special request from one of the nation's biggest retailers, BEST BUY, Steele released three new albums of material, Hell on Wheels, Countrypolitan, and Greatest Hits Vol. 2.
