Jeffrey Steele Hosts Event for Scholarship Program

On Thursday, March 12, at Rocketown in Nashville, the Alex LeVasseur Memorial Scholarship Program will present Jeffrey Steele & Friends, an intimate evening with singer/songwriter Jeffrey Steele and special guests. The artists scheduled to perform along with Steele, a two-time BMI Songwriter of the Year, and his band are Keith Anderson, Sebastian Bach, Billy Dean, LoCash Cowboys and others that will be announced at a later date.In addition to the concert, the event will include table seating with a limited VIP section, wine and hors d'œuvres.  VIP tables are $1,500 and the remaining tables are $1,000. Single seats will be available for $100 each. The event will also include a silent auction that will feature autographed guitars, golf packages, items from John Rich, an autograph Predators jersey, a custom-made Outlaw guitar and much more.The Alex LeVasseur Memorial Scholarship Program at The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee was created by Jeffrey Steele and his family after Alex LeVasseur, Steele's 13-year-old son, passed away January 28, 2007, in a tragic accident.  The Jeffrey Steele & Friends show at Rocketown marks the beginning to two annual events that the LeVasseur family will put on in memory of Alex. The second event is an outdoor skate and music festival that will take place on June 28, 2009.  For more information on the event and the scholarship program visit http://www.rememberalex.com/.
