Jeff Griffith Makes CMA MusicFest Debut

5/16/2008 Katie Ball Jeff Griffith at CMA MusicFest 2008 Independent Country traditionalist Jeff Griffith performs for the first time at the CMA Music Festival on Friday, June 6 at the Riverfront Park stages. Griffith will also be joined by Joe Stampley, a Country Music singer popular for his traditional Country songs from the 1960s and beyond.  Griffith is set to perform his current single “Holed Up In Some Honky Tonk” from his album If It Ain’t One Thing It’s Another. Along with that, he will perform a new song from the album. Stampley will join Griffith for the Moe & Joe song “Good Ole Boys.” Griffith will also be appearing at several autograph booths in the Convention Center including the Outdoor Channel, Sprint/Nextel and Mr. Coffee booths.   Jeff Griffith is receiving attention in the world of Country Music for his CD and was the runner-up as Nashville’s Music Row “Breakout Award” for Small Label Artist of the Year in 2007.  He’s performed with Stampley, Gene Watson, Heartland and Sammy Kershaw. Griffith also appeared in Country Weekly and has made several radio appearances.
