9/27/2007 Stephen L. Betts CMA Song of the Year nominee Jamey Johnson has released That Lonesome Song, an album that will be available only as a digital download. The collection of 13 songs - 11 written or co-written by Jamey - is now available on all major music download sites including iTunes, WalMart, Rhapsody and Snocap. "We are going this route because it's something that is available yet often overlooked," Jamey says in reference to being one of the first country artists to release an entirely digital LP. "To be honest, I haven't bought an actual record in years, buying all of my music online. I figure if I do, then surely other people do too." Jamey co-wrote George Strait's No. 1 hit, "Give It Away," the reigning ACM Single and Song of the Year and a current CMA Song of the Year nominee. His writing credits also include the No. 1 songs "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and "Ladies Love Country Boys" by Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols' current Top 20, "Another Side of You," and Trace Adkins’ current "I Got My Game On."  The Alabama native released one album on the BNA label, and scored the Top 15 single, "The Dollar." Last year he was voted one of Nashville's Top Ten Songwriters by Billboard Magazine.
