3/27/2008 Staff Rising Country Music star James Otto reveals to Country Weekly in their upcoming April 7 issue that he is finally getting the right pieces put together for his career. James, who's hitting big on the country music charts with "Just Got Started Lovin' You," actually made his debut in 2004 but was eventually dropped from his first label. James' first album for his new label, Sunset Man, will be released April 8. The album was produced by John Rich and Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus, who happens to be James' brother-in-law. James talked about his career and newfound success with Country Weekly. "The first album I made [in 2004] was a little out of the box," James says. "People might not have been ready for me at the time. We were making music that was kind of rowdy. There hadn't been a Gretchen Wilson or Big & Rich, so we may have been a little early with some of that." "One of my proudest moments as a songwriter is 'Where Angels Hang Around,' which is on the [Sunset Man] album. It's about losing that special someone in your life," James explains. "It was written for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, and it's one that I hope will be a gift for them to help raise awareness. I have visited there the last two years, and this year, I got to see more of the research centers and the inner workings of the hospital."
