James Otto Gets Immature Over Teen Choice Awards

Taylor Swift joins Mariah Carey as only the second female artist to debut multiple singles in the top 5 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in one year. Taylor’s new single “Mine” debuted at #3 this week. “Mine” was rush released after some bootleg copies appeared on the web. Taylor says “Mine” is about how she runs away from love. Well you can run all you want from me Taylor but I’ll track you down. Woof.

Years ago when the folks at National Life Insurance (which owned WSM radio at the time) were cleaning out closets, they through out some recordings of some previously live radio shows that aired on WSM. A WSM photographer, Les Leverett, noticed the recordings and asked if he could have them.   They said, “Sure!” Now those recordings are being released. They include Hank Williams and his band performing, and some talking back and forth between Hand and his band. The Hank Williams Complete Mother’s Best Recordings…Plus! will now be released on CD…and on DVD. That’s way cool! It’s enough to make me want to be a Music City Dumpster Diver Dog!

 

Kenny’s joined the line-up for October 2 at Miller Park in Milwaukee. A bunch of others including Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Neil Young are also playing Farm Aid. Tix go on sale August 14. I wish someone would do a Webb Aid concert with all proceeds going to buy me food, bones and such.

 

So why was he watching the Teen Choice Awards…and Tweeting his displeasure with them? And who cares? Well I guess I do cause I’m writing about it. Anyway, first he tweeted, “"Call me old fashioned but the fact that a porn star (Kim Kardashian) is a presenter on the Teen Choice awards is kinda messed up." Then he tore into Selena Gomez, "Selena Gomez posted nude pics of herself on the Internet, Miley Cyrus is running around with no panties for the paparazzi," before fact-checking himself by saying, "I've been corrected. Selena Gomez does not have nude pics, it's Vanessa Hudgens. My apologies to Selena.”  James, James, James; they’re just kids. You were once too! Woof.  By the way, how many of you have Googled Vanessa Hudgens by now?
