Country Music artist James Otto has received his first two ACM Award nominations in both the Top New Male Vocalist of the Year category and as a songwriter in the Song of the Year category for Jamey Johnson's single, "In Color.""The ACM Award nomination for Top New Male Vocalist Of The Year is a huge honor, and then to also be acknowledged as a songwriter totally blows me away!" said Otto. "I have attended the ACMs for the past six years participating in the ACM Charity Motorcycle Ride and playing shows down on Fremont Street and look forward to it every year. To be nominated as an artist this time around will be extremely cool. I want to thank the industry for their votes and their confidence in me."Betting fans have plenty of collateral: Otto was the best-selling new male Country artist in 2008, and hit No. 1 with his John Rich-produced hit, "Just Got Started Lovin' You," from his debut album, Sunset Man.Otto has said his drive comes from the fans. "The past year has been life-changing for me, but it wouldn't even be possible without my fans, especially the Ottomaniacs!  I am really psyched about this year's changes in voting that allow the fans to get involved and vote for their favorite new artists. The fans are the reason I love what I do."
