James Otto’s new album, Shake What God Gave Ya, hits shelves on Sept. 14. With the new album, the Warner Bros. Records artist is bringing fans his own blend of Country and soul.

“Musically I’d say I’m the love child between Ronnie Milsap & Barry White,” Otto said. “This sexy, sultry, soulful sound makes you wanna move and dance. And that is exactly what I want fans to do while listening to this album, Shake What God Gave Ya!”

The album, recorded in Nashville, was co-produced with Paul Worley, who is known for his work with Big & Rich, Lady Antebellum and The Dixie Chicks. A much sought after songwriter in his own right, Otto penned 11 of the album’s 12 tracks, including his current release, “Groovy Little Summer Song.”

Otto also teamed up with his Country Music “Godfather,” Ronnie Milsap, to record the duet “Good Things Gone Bad.”

Shake What God Gave Ya is the follow-up to Otto's 2008 debut, Sunset Man, which landed at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart and produced last year's most played Country single and Billboard’s No. 1 Hot Country Song, “Just Got Started Loving You.”

Last year, Otto won an ACM and CMA Award in the Song of the Year category as a co-writer for the Jamey Johnson-recorded tune “In Color," a track that also earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Country Song.

Otto is currently on the road headlining solo dates and opening for Toby Keith and Trace Adkins on the American Ride Tour. For more information log on to: www.jamesotto.net.
