8/24/2007 Stephen L. Betts   The co-headlining Alan Jackson/Brooks & Dunn tour resumes tonight (8/24) in Little Rock, Arkansas. The two superstar acts are a big ticket draw in addition to being friends off stage. Alan told icebergradio.com that he and Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn had been kicking around the idea of touring together for a long time. "I like them guys," says Alan. "I've known them for years. They started out the same time I did and we've talked about touring before, and I've always loved Ronnie's voice -- great singer and they write some good stuff -- so it's a good tour." Alan says that while he and Brooks & Dunn don't share exactly the same fan base, their music is complimentary and it works well on the road. "I think we work well together out there. Our fans are similar and I think we compliment each other and we're similar but different, and so I think it's working pretty good. I think they're having a good time. So far everybody's happy." Alan will remain on tour with Brooks & Dunn through late October.
