Jack Ingram's Ski Vacation Was "Tears Galore"
1/22/2008 Jack Ingram puts plenty of energy into his stage shows, so when he’s on vacation, he likes to relax. Probably what he had in mind during a recent ski trip, though things didn’t turn out to be quite so relaxing. Jack says that when he and his family – his three kids, plus five nieces and nephews - hit the slopes in Colorado, there were “tears galore. “The kids didn't want to wear their gloves. And … five minutes outside in the snow meant an hour of getting everyone ready. So most of the vacation it seems was dressing children and then holding them as they took their soaking-wet snow gear off screaming!” On Friday (1/25), Jack returns to the stage in Green Bay, WI, on Martina McBride's Waking Up Laughing tour, which also stops this weekend in Minneapolis and Ames, IA.
