Jack Ingram Wields Microphone and Hacksaw

9/4/2007 Stephen L. Betts After a summer of successful shows, Jack Ingram’s last night on Brad Paisley's Bonfires & Amplifiers tour hit Syracuse, New York on Saturday (9/1). Brad's camp of merry pranksters took advantage of the situation, putting Jack in a cage they built out of PVC pipe immediately before he went onstage. As Jack's show started they wheeled him out, arming him with just a microphone and a hacksaw! Two songs into his set, Jack was still singing from the cage, so Brad sent out a crew member to set him free. Jack will probably be watching his back when he hits the road with Dierks Bentley this fall. In advance of the Throttle Wide Open tour, which begins in October, Jack plays a series of solo dates in Las Vegas on Friday (9/7) and St. George, Utah on Saturday (9/8).
